Breakfast:
|
Tea w/milk, apple (didn't eat), tomato chunks, croissant, yogurt w/peaches, pineapples & cereal
(I like how they serve tomatoes for breakfast here. I also really like croissants, even though these aren't very good.) |
Breakfast (part II):
|
Cheese & tomato croissant sandwich |
Refreshments during orientation break:
|
Tea, chocolate biscuit, digestive biscuit, chocolate digestive biscuit (not pictured)
(I love chocolate digestive biscuits! Can't wait to stock up later.) |
Lunch:
|
Lasagna (didn't eat), pasta (ate half), steamed veggies
(The pasta was ridiculously salty.) |
|
Bread roll, cucumber & tomato salad |
Snack:
|
Tic-tac from Marissa |
Dinner on the bus:
|
OJ (didn't drink), orange (only drank), Cadbury twirl chocolate, sandwich (picked out the weird meat)
(On my way to see a pantomime! Apparently it's quintessentially British and as an American, I may or may not like it. The show was quite strange, but I enjoyed it overall. Regarding the food, what is up with all these chocolate bars? Every welcome packet I've been given thus far included some sort of Cadbury chocolate bar. I liked the texture of this one though, because the multiple layers allowed the chocolate to melt faster. I also didn't want to have messy orange juice everywhere so I took the straw from the juice box, pierced the orange and drank "fresh" OJ.) |
Snack:

Tic-tac from Marissa |
There's a Cadbury chocolate factory a bus ride away from London! Maybe that explains the Cadbury craze?
ReplyDeleteOoh really? I just thought it was the Hershey's equivalent since Cadbury's pretty common in Australia and NZ too. I'll have to visit; three Cadbury factories in three different countries!
