Hallo, Berlin!

Time for some chocolate and history.

Breakfast (on the way to the airport):
Brown rice cakes (4), rest of the juice
Snack at the airport:
Ritz cracker from Kelly

Morning coffee at Café Einstein, Berlin, Germany:
Espresso mit Käsekuchen
Espresso with cheesecake (shared w/Kelly)
(This cheesecake was amazing! I've never had a cheesecake with this texture before: immensely light, fluffy and soft - almost as if it were steamed. The slice was huge, but it never became overwhelming even though it was still creamy. Since the base was more akin to a lemon shortbread biscuit, the majority of the "additional" flavours came from eating both the filling and crust together. One of the best cheesecakes I've ever eaten in my life.)
Kelly's cappuccino
Snack from Bäcker Wiedemann - Friedrichstraße, Berlin, Germany:
Sesame pretzel
(Not the best pretzel ever. Kelly and I started looking for them pretty late, so all the shops were closed/closing.)
Piece of Kelly's pumpkin seed & cheese pretzel
(The cheese had a really strong, sharp flavour!)
Snack from Bio Company, Berlin, Germany:
Mandelhörnchen
Almond "croissant"-shaped cookie
(This was delicious! Perfectly sweetened, with a good amount of bitter dark chocolate and almondy goodness in every bite.)
 Dinner:
Yogurt (2)
