Happy birthday, J.!

Breakfast:
Apple chips
(Addicted. Michelle's newest obsession is this.)
Snack:
Small piece of breadfruit
(Looked this up on Google, and interestingly, this may become the "food of the future" and is being touted as the "food security". Apparently, in addition to its bounty of nutrients, it has a high production rate. However, it is extremely bland - and for someone who generally eats blandly, that's saying something - so most people are not too keen on it. Every recipe I have come across involves butter and frying - which cannot be healthy in the long run.)
Snack:
Jicama tofu wrap
Snack:
Chocolate orange granola w/blackberries & almond milk
New Year's Appetiser Test-Lab:
The assortment of toppings: tofu, apple chips, roasted seaweed, blackberries, dill honey mustard spread, avocado
(Attempted to find that missing oomph and decided it was probably some vegetable or fruit with high-water content after a lot of experimentation. The basic pita, avocado and smoked salmon was just mediocre.)
One outcome (it was nixed)
(I have weird combinations, but my sister has even stranger ones. This was not one her finer moments.)
Snack:
Soybean pudding
Snack:
Fresh pomegranate juice
(So much better than anything in the markets.)
Snack:
Red beet, carrot, apple & ginger juice
(I asked for a glass, I got almost four litres worth.)
