Happy birthday Jimmy!

New year, new location. I'm now in the dreary, but lovely, city of London!

Breakfast on the plane:
OJ (had a few sips), granola bar, blueberry muffin (ate half)
(I basically just ate the parts with the blueberries. Too groggy.)
Snack:
Bread roll (2)
Lunch with Emma and her family at TAS Restaurant, London, England:
Turkish bread w/hummus
(So excited to see Emma and in London too!)
Türlü: mixed vegetable stew of potatoes, aubergines, courgettes, peppers, carrots and tomatoes, served with couscous and yogurt
(Too much food. With the exception of the mushrooms, which I picked out and gave to Emma's mom, the dish was delicious! Loved the mild spiciness and sweet tartness from all the veggies, although the potato chunks should have been smaller to better absorb the flavourings. I only had a few spoonfuls of the the couscous because the stew portion was so large, and the yogurt tasted like the typical tart Greek yogurt.)
Turkish delight (had a bite)
Dinner at Grace Bar & Restaurant, London, England:
Chip
Feta & pea risotto w/baby herb & leaves (ate half)
(I just ate all the baby herbs and a bit of the risotto. Much too creamy for me, but the texture of the rice was well done.)
Chip from Marissa
Warm chocolate brownie w/vanilla ice cream
(One of my favourite combinations! The brownie was one of those gooey fudge types so it got overwhelming after a bit.)
