Breakfast:
Peach coffee cake, spinach, coffee
Extra green smoothie*, quinoa hot cereal w/cinnamon, flaxseeds, pb, banana slices & spinach
Lunch:
Veggie hummus wrap, lemon tea
Dinner:
Green smoothie* (drank 3/4)
*Green smoothie: spinach, OJ, cantaloupe melon, banana, mango, peach
Dessert at Bart's, Amherst, MA:
Pumpkin sundae: warm ginger cookie topped w/pumpkin & ginger ice cream, caramel, cinnamon & whipped cream (shared w/Caitlin)
(The pumpkin flavour and sweetness became overwhelming toward the end. I'm glad I swapped out one of the scoops of pumpkin ice cream for ginger.)
Late night pizza at Antonio's, Amherst, MA:
Avocado, tomato & mozzarella cheese pizza w/crushed red peppers
(This pizza was heavenly. I could have died after eating this and be moderately satisfied. The combination of creamy avocado, salty mozzarella and juicy tomatoes blended perfectly together. Plus, Antonio's baked this for the perfect amount of time; it was warm and crispy but still doughy.)
