Statistically Square

Brunch:
Chai tea w/almond milk, assorted cereal w/chia seeds, cinnamon, dates & almond milk
Snack:
Dubliner cheese
("When I'm hungry, I eat a cube of cheese.")
Snack:
Pb snickers
(I can actually taste the peanut butter!)
Statistics Dinner at Amherst Chinese, Amherst, MA:
(thanks for indulging my food documenting obsessions, and thanks for the meal Prof H.!)
Appetisers: vegetable dumplings, shrimp dumplings, radish cakes, scallion pancakes
(Had everything except for the shrimp dumplings. The vegetable dumpling fillings were strangely soupy, and the radish pancakes needed more radish and less cornstarch.)
(clockwise L to R) rice, shredded chicken vegetable dish, pancakes w/hoisin sauce, moo shu vegetables, jasmine tea, beef (?) vegetable dish, chicken walnut dish, spicy lamb dish, shrimp vegetable dish, spicy tofu w/cashews & vegetables
(Didn't eat the meat, but at some point, all the vegetables started tasting the same. This was your typical Americanised Chinese food selection, with a lot of hoisin or soy-based sauces. As usual, I thought it was slightly salty but apparently I am just a bland eater.)
Fortune cookie (ate half)
("Like the river flow into the sea. Something are just meant to be.")
Late Night Val:
Blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, chocolate golden graham krispie
(BERRIES. I LOVE BERRIES.)
Girls' Night:
Dates, assorted berries, brie, hard cheese - gouda (?), chevre, herbed chevre, dubliner, chocolate golden graham krispie, apples, crackers, cereal (didn't eat), wine (didn't drink)
(Our updated cereal party, except we did not eat cereal. Also allergic to wine so I couldn't indulge in the wine aspect of "classy wine and cheese film night".)
