02 July 2013

Breakfast:
Red delicious apple
Lunch from Antika Pizzeria, Washington Heights, NYC, NY (provided by Mailman School):
Spring, cheese pizza w/crushed red peppers (4, didn't eat the crusts)
(This was more like focaccia bread w/sauce and weird cheese. Not a big fan, but ate four slices anyway because pizza is pizza.)
Snack for Brianna's birthday celebration from Magnolia Bakery, NYC, NY:
Chocolate cupcake (ate a bite, gave the rest to Ben)
Snack from Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center:
Pineapple, honeydew, raspberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, chocolate mousse cake thing, white chocolate macadamia nut cookie
Bite of Kevin's black & white cookie
(Daniel and Kevin said it resembled a donut, but I wasn't too keen on this cookie.)
Snack from the Halal Food Cart on 53rd & 6th:
Chicken over rice, lettuce & pita bread pieces w/white sauce & hot sauce (shared w/Daniel)
(The amount of white sauce makes me cringe every time I look at it. Half of the amount of sauce would have been good. Super fulfilling, so I'm glad I split this portion. The pita bread pieces were fabulous and the best part in my opinion.)
Snack from Bouchon Bakery, Rockefeller Center, NYC, NY:
Pistachio macaron (shared mostly w/Ben & Daniel, gave some to Kevin)
(So much better than the green tea macaron from Chikalicious! Slightly sweet creme filling, but fantastic texture.)
Pain au chocolat (shared w/Ben, Daniel & Kevin)
(Not enough chocolate in here, but the crossiant's texture was good.)
Several bites of Daniel's Better Nutter (peanut butter cookies w/peanut butter creme filling)
(Marie, you would love this! Super peanut buttery!)
Post-workout snack:
Naked berry veggie juice, red delicious apple (shared w/Ben & Daniel)
Late night snack:
Chocolate covered cashews, raisins & cranberries from Daniel

  1. Golly is it just me or does your program give you a lot of free food? It seems like there are snacks provided everyday. Lucky you guys!

Mmmm Bouchon Bakery...funnily the last time
I was there I got just about the same stuff that you guys had. The Better Nutter, mmmm, definitely a better nutter =D

  2. We don't get a lot of free food (only during seminars usually, which are weekly), but I think the allowance of food they gave us at I-House is pretty sufficient!

Haha, that's a pretty good name for it.
