København, Dag 3

Breakfast (provided by Kelly's housing):
Rye bread, orange slices, banana chunks, tea,  caffe latte
(Another great breakfast.)
Picnic with Kelly at Hamlet's castle:
Picnic at Hamlet's castle courtesy of Kelly
(Early birthday celebration and especially fitting since Shakespeare and I share the same birthday. Unfortunately, the weather was rather dismal and we had to pack up the picnic shortly after setting up. Thank you Kelly for planning all this!)
Gummies (ate one), chocolate (didn't eat), chocolate covered marzipan, Ritz crackers w/cream cheese & smoked salmon, orange slices, Greek yogurt, kanelsnegle, chocolate hazelnut cookie, hazelnut & cinnamon custard Danish pastry, coffee, tea

*Kanelsnegle from Sct. Pederørs Bageri ApS, Copenhagen, Denmark
Cookie and hazelnut & cinnamon custard Danish pastry from Lagkagehuset A/S, Copenhagen, Denmark
Kanelsnegle
(Essentially a cinnamon roll, but the Danes only make them on Wednesday. Quite good!)
Hazelnut & cinnamon custard Danish pastry
(Kelly took me to this bakery and said that this was very Danish. We both didn't realise that there are hazelnuts on it. Copious amounts of hazelnuts. I'm allergic. I did eat some, but picked out all the roasted hazelnut bits.)
Hazelnut & chocolate cookie (ate a small bite)
(Also did not realise that there were hazelnuts in this. I had a small bite of this, but wasn't a fan. Kelly picked out all the hazelnuts since she doesn't like them and used the rest of the cookie as a topping for her Greek yogurt.)
Chocolate covered marzipan (had a small bite)
(Finally a nut that isn't hazelnut! This was quite good.)
Ritz cracker w/cream cheese & smoked salmon
(First time eating meat in a long time! I liked that this smoked salmon wasn't very salty. Eventually I switched out the cream cheese for Greek yogurt though, preferring the tart creaminess to rich creaminess.)
Dinner (provided by Kelly's housing):
Bread, tomato "soup" (just ate the tomato part), macaroon (teensy bite)
(Wasn't a fan of the soggy pasta in the "soup". It's also the sweetest soup I've ever had. I'm also having bad luck with the sweets today - I'm allergic to coconuts so I couldn't eat the macaroon.)
