Oslo, Dag 4

Brunch buffet with my cousins at --- in DNB Bank, Oslo, Norway:
Spinach & alfafa salad, olive salad (ate one olive), boiled potato w/herbs, cherry tomatoes & pineapple salad (didn't eat the onions), baked potato slices w/seasonings, cherry tomatoes & avocado, bread
(I don't like olives, except on pizza, so I thought the salad was rather vile. The cherry tomatoes & pineapple salad reminded me of some tropical destination, but it was overloaded with red onions. I liked topping the bread with smashed avocado and cherry tomatoes though. Reminded me of home.)
Bread, cherry tomatoes & pineapple salad, baked halibut, baked potato slices w/seasonings, spinach & alfafa salad, cherry tomatoes & avocado
(A glimpse of the rooftop view, it's kind of reminiscent of NYC! This plate basically features the same dishes as the previous with the exception of the baked halibut. That was probably the most tender fish I've eaten in a long time; the meat just melted in my mouth.)
Carrot bread, avocado, mango mousse & frozen strawberries cake, vanilla yogurt, assorted fruit
(Dessert! Usually my favourite course. The carrot bread was extremely soft and while I couldn't taste the carrots, the little bits provided a nice textural contrast. I was not a fan of the actual cake on the bottom layer because it was too thin and dry. Without the cake, the mousse and frozen strawberries layer resembled ice cream/frozen yogurt. Yum.)
Assorted fruit, vanilla yogurt, mango mousse & frozen strawberries cake
(More dessert, more of the view.)
Snack:
Banana bread-cake
Snack:
Frozen blackberries, frozen mango chunks, strawberries, frozen blueberries, frozen pineapples, frozen bananas & Greek yogurt w/cinnamon & walnuts
Snack:
Some carrot sticks
Snack:
I baked carrot cake bread!
Carrot cake bread
(Initial sample. The inside was a bit wet, so I left the rest of the tin to cool down first.)
Snack:
Dark chocolate Toblerone
(Love Toblerone, especially the dark chocolate one.)
Snack:
Dark chocolate brownie
(I also baked some brownies! Since I didn't add sugar, the dark chocolate really shone through. I ended up drizzling honey all over the rest of the brownies.)
Snack:
Carrot cake bread
(Still moist, but dried out. Yum.)
Snack:
Dark chocolate brownie w/honey
Snack:
Frozen blackberries, frozen blueberries, frozen mango chunks, frozen banana slices, dark chocolate brownie, carrot cake bread & melon passionfruit yogurt topped w/muesli & cinnmon
Tiny slice of banana cake
(My cousin was insistent on me trying everything. This was sweet, but at least it tasted like bananas. There are so many false claims nowadays.)
Pistachios
Oatmeal cookie
(This sounded really good in my head, but I was extremely disappointed after the first bite. Too sweet.)
