Breakfast:
Strawberries (didn't eat), potato chunks, banana slices w/pb, blueberry cream cheese muffin (2)
 Saturday Emz Brunch (Part I) at the Amherst Farmers' Market, Amherst, MA:

(Both cheeses were very creamy.)

(Both cheeses were creamy with a hint of sharpness. I can't really tell the difference between cheeses.)
Emma's cheeseburger
(Fresh off the grill! Can't comment on the taste, but Emma enjoyed it. I wish they had a veggie version.)
Peach smoothie
(Got a smoothie from the yogurt stand. This was ultra creamy but tarty and light. The peaches also enhanced the refreshing factor. Perfect for a hot and humid morning.)
Saturday Emz Brunch (Part II) at LimeRed Teahouse, Amherst, MA: 
Chocolate chip cookie (shared w/Emma)
(Super sweet and buttery. I still prefer D.P. Dough's or Levain's chocolate chip cookies.)
Sip of Emma's iced chai tea
(The chai spices were rather subtle; this tasted more like spiced black tea than chai tea. I can see it be a nice pairing to the cookie though.)
Ginger peach scone (ate half, shared w/Emma)
(Must be a last hurrah to peach day or something. This scone was more like a fluffy biscuit, but very scrumptious. Ginger and peach work really well together and I liked the subtle sweetness with some heat. Very refreshing, if you can describe baked goods as "refreshing".)
Taro soymilk tea w/o sugar w/lychee jelly
(LimeRed ran out of matcha green tea jelly so I opted for lychee instead of pearls. The result was a fruity refreshment that was both light and weighted. Taro is a delicious flavour itself that everyone should try at least once, and the substitution of soymilk helped lighten up the drink. Regular milk tends to make taro a bit more savoury and hefty, unless there's a lot of sugar in the drink. The addition of lychee rounded up the flavour palate into a refreshing beverage.)
